I love discussing my research on topics like trust, sexual autonomy, consent, and Kant's philosophy, as well as my personal experiences as an international grad student in philosophy, exploring the intricate balance between family life and academia.

Scholar Activism on Sexual Ethics
As part of my research on sexual ethics, I pursue scholar activism in this area, sharing my insights with the relevant communities as well as incorporating their experiences into my work. Since 2024, I have been a researcher at Ethical Dating Online (University of Leeds), a network of academics exploring the social impact of dating apps. My work focuses particularly on trust, investigating what is normatively required from dating app participants to create a more trustworthy environment. I'm also a research affiliate at the Center for Positive Sexuality (Los Angeles, CA). The CPS is a non-profit association dedicated to addressing social issues through sex-positive research and education. If you are an undergraduate student in philosophy interested in conducting academic research on sexuality, please feel free to contact me or read more about the CPS's internships During the COVID-19 quarantines, I designed and taught an online 'Introduction to the Philosophy of Sex & Love' via Zoom. We explored various topics, from Plato's writings on Eros to Martha Nussbaum's insights on sexual objectification and its moral implications. The virtual setting proved to be a dynamic platform for fostering connection and meaningful discourse in times of social distancing. In the summer of 2022, I delivered a lecture at the Israeli Center for Alternative Sexualities conference on 'Autonomy, Consent, and Kink,' exploring crucial ethical considerations within alternative sexual communities. Philosophy 360°
In 2017, I co-founded Philosophy 360°, and had the honor of receiving the prestigious JNF-KKL Switzerland-Israel Foundation for the Promotion of Philosophy for two consecutive years (2019 and 2020) in recognition of the project’s impact. Philosophy 360°focused on fostering interdisciplinary dialogues between philosophy and other disciplines. The project included annual conferences tailored for BA and MA students, providing a unique space for cross-disciplinary exploration, and a monthly lecture series aimed at making these interdisciplinary discussions accessible to non-academic audiences. This series took place in various night venues in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, including bars, cafés, and bookstores. Throughout the project’s three-year duration, we were proud to have garnered support from prestigious institutions, including the Department of Philosophy at the Hebrew University, S. H. Bergman Center for Philosophical Studies, The Sydney M. Edelstein Center for the History and Philosophy of Science, Technology, and Medicine, the Martin Buber Society of Fellows, and the Hebrew University Student Union. |
